Mapperley Church of the Holy Trinity has served the people of Mapperley Village and the surrounding district for nearly 160 years. Our small congregation reflects the small population of the village, but we are a vibrant church and we are anxious to move with the times and be a significant part of the community. The need to demolish our old church and rebuild a new one in a modern style has offered the opportunity to provide a community facility as well as a place of worship. The local school makes regular use of the open-plan hall.

Holy Trinity is part of the Diocese of Derby and is in a Covenant with five local churches, Anglican and Methodist. We also have very close ties with the local Church of England Primary School.

Holy Trinity is regularly supported by people from the surrounding villages and we are well known for our hospitality and the farmhouse fare at special events is legendary in the area.
