St Andrew�s Church has a long history of serving the people of Stanley village and the surrounding district. It is located in the centre of the old village on the road from Oakwood to Ilkeston.
The church has a strong Parochial Church Council and has close ties with the local St Andrews Church of England Primary School in Stanley.
St Andrew�s Church joined with other Church of England churches in the nearby villages of West Hallam, Stanley Common and Mapperley to form a single benefice and is one of the six Covenant churches.
